Meeqat Pro · TV app

Your mosque’s prayer times on any TV

Meeqat Display turns an Android TV, Google TV box or signage screen into a live prayer-times display. It keeps 30 days of times on the screen, so it carries on when the internet drops, and it updates the moment you change an Iqamah time or post an announcement.

Meeqat Display for Android TV

Checking the latest version…

  1. 1

Get the app onto the TV

On the Android TV or Google TV box, install Downloader (by AFTVnews) from the Play Store, allow it to install unknown apps (Settings → Apps → Security), then type the address shown above. Or copy the APK to a USB stick and open it with a file manager.

  2. 2

    Open Meeqat Display

It starts full-screen and shows a six-character pairing code with a QR code. It also starts by itself every time the TV is switched on.

  3. 3

    Pair it with your mosque

Sign in to the console, open Mosque → Devices → Add screen and type the code — or scan the QR code with your phone. The screen shows your prayer times within seconds.

  4. 4

Set the TV up for all-day use

Turn off the TV’s screensaver and sleep timer, prefer wired Ethernet, and keep Android System WebView updated. Long-press MENU on the remote (or press ↑ ↑ ↓ ↓ ← → ← →) for the app’s settings.

No mosque account yet? Register your mosque — it is free for one mosque. A smart TV without Android can open /display in its web browser instead.
